| Aims and delivery |
| This course aims to provide delegates with a greater understanding of the importance of effective communication for both internal and external organisational success. There is a strong focus on the dynamic, interactive nature of communication and the concept and importance of non-verbal communication is introduced. We will consider both formal and informal means of communication and the process of active listening in order to enhance and facilitate this process. The final part of the session will consider barriers to effective communication and key skills required for effective communication. This will culminate in a session of brainstorming and dialogue during which delegates will have the opportunity to consider their personal, group and organisational communication barriers and how they can move to break down these barriers and enhance overall personal and organisational effectiveness. |
